Requirements

High school diploma or GED
One (1) year of full-time equivalent experience in a solid waste position or a closely related experience
Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B or have an out-of-state Class B CDL and obtain a State of Virginia CDL Class B within 30 days of employment
Must possess a valid driver’s license
Must have and maintain a satisfactory driver’s record based on the City of Hampton’s criteria
Must successfully pass a background check related to this position prior to any offer of employment or promotion
