Nice To Haves

  • Experience in asphalt and/or concrete work, construction, or general maintenance
  • Experience operating equipment such as dump trucks, rollers, or skid steers
  • Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe

Responsibilities

  • Assist with repairs, patching, and maintenance for the City’s asphalt and concrete foundations
  • Operate and maintain tools and equipment used in roadwork and construction
  • Support preparation, placement, and finishing of asphalt and concrete surfaces
  • Work closely with crew members to complete projects safely and efficiently
  • Follow direction from leadership while contributing to a positive team environment
  • Help set up traffic control and maintain safe work zones
  • Perform routine maintenance on streets, sidewalks, and related infrastructure
  • Assist with snow removal, storm response, and other seasonal Public Works activities
  • Maintain equipment and report any issues or needed repairs
