About The Position

This internship offers a valuable learning experience within Public Works, where interns will be mentored by BGE employees. The program includes specific events and training focused on career development, alongside intern-specific activities and regular work tasks. Interns are expected to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Must be a full-time student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, Landscape Architecture, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
• Strong proficiency with business software (MS Office) and ability to learn industry-specific software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong collaborator who works well on a team.
• Willingness and ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Work on a team while learning and being mentored by BGE employees.
• Attend specific events and training geared toward career development.
• Participate in intern-specific activities in addition to normal work activities.
