About The Position

Lead impactful Public Works projects that shape the community. In this role, you’ll plan, organize, and coordinate complex administrative and engineering efforts, while overseeing operations, staff, and resources across a variety of projects and programs. Working under the guidance of the Public Works Director, you’ll also provide leadership to assigned personnel while driving projects forward from concept to completion. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with coursework in civil engineering or closely related field.
  • Six (6) or more years of experience in engineering design, planning and project administration.
  • Two (2) years in a supervisory role.
  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Washington State Professional Engineer's license upon hire and maintain throughout employment. Out of State applicants must have the ability to obtain within six (6) months of hire date.
