About The Position

This role focuses on maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of public areas within the club, such as the living room, restrooms, and corridors. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys staying busy, is helpful, and has a keen eye for detail to ensure spaces are sparkling and well-maintained. This position is part of a friendly, hard-working housekeeping team, aiming to impress members and guests with the pristine condition of the club's public areas.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with fellow associates and members in person or via a cellular telephone/radio.
• Must be able to read and understand daily work assignments.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Must be able to push/pull up to 250 pounds frequently.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include AM and PM shifts including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure public areas are clean and tidy, reporting any missing items or needed repairs.
• Keep assigned areas, such as public restrooms and the fitness center, stocked, clean, and crisp.
• Assist coworkers by pitching in as needed, potentially taking on house person duties or folding towels.
• Share a warm greeting and smile with all members and guests encountered.
• Follow established safety and security policies and procedures, anticipating problems and alerting management.
• Clean public restrooms, corridors, lobby areas, and other public spaces, which may include vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, waxing, scrubbing, wiping, and dusting.
• Distribute linens, towels, and supplies.
• Observe and report any damage to club property.
• Participate in scheduled general cleaning of the clubhouse.
• Report maintenance requests to ensure public areas comply with Club standards.
• Arrive at work on time and when scheduled.
• Work independently, completing all daily assigned duties.
• Communicate effectively with the public and other team members verbally and/or in writing.
• Learn, follow, and enforce standards for cleanliness for assigned areas.
• Follow all safety procedures/standards and recognize and act in emergency situations.
• Perform additional duties as requested.
