About The Position
Chesterfield Township is seeking efficient and enthusiastic candidates for the summer to complete a variety of general labor tasks. Under direct supervision, this seasonal position will perform a variety of manual tasks, including, but not limited to, weed whipping, fire hydrant painting, grass cutting, cleaning and maintaining Township fleet vehicles, assist in utility infrastructure, and perform other duties as directed.
Requirements
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- Must have a valid Michigan Drivers' License
- Good driving record
- Dependable transportation or have transportation available to and from work site
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to use electronic devices to capture data, photos, and time spent on tasks
- Ability to adhere to established department and Township procedures and guidelines
- Ability to respond appropriately to verbal and written communication
- Basic computer knowledge
