The role involves providing routine security patrols of campus, both internal and external, maintaining crowd control and order, performing safety and equipment inspections, and providing information and assistance to patients, visitors, staff, and the general public. The officer will respond to calls for assistance, document incidents, operate security screening equipment, and report any unauthorized or suspicious persons, unsafe conditions, or other irregularities. Adherence to the Hospital's Public Safety Department Firearms policy and the Use of Force policy is required.
