About The Position
St. Mary's General Hospital is a community-based tertiary medical center in Passaic, New Jersey, providing acute care and a broad range of medical services. The Public Safety Officer performs security services, including electronic surveillance and systematic manual security rounds, and coordinates the facility’s response to potential problems affecting patients, employees, and visitors. The officer enforces policies and procedures equitably and uses established guidelines and continuous monitoring techniques to support a safe workplace and environment of care. The role works with the Environment of Care committee on a multidisciplinary approach to security and safety, participates in employee awareness and education, and drives as needed for company business.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- State Guard Certification Registration Card.
- State driver's license upon hire.
- Current DMV H6 report or Driving History Report.
