About The Position

Milwaukee Public Museum is looking for two (2) Part-Time Public Safety Officer to work rotating shifts. The Museum requires the Security Department to be manned on a 24 hour, 365 days per year basis. In this role you will: Safeguard museum collections and ensure the well-being of museum employees and visitors. Use all 5 senses to make observations of irregularities and document them in written reports. Patrol, on foot, the over 400,000 square foot building. Monitor 200 cameras in the dispatch office and serve as a resource for multiple departments via radio communication.

Nice To Haves

1 year previous security experience.
Prior DAAT training or similar de-escalation and self-defense training.
CPR, AED, and/or First Aid certification.
Prior experience with Access Control systems like C-Cure or similar systems.
