The Public Safety Officer provides a visual security presence to ensure a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, physicians and staff. This role involves routine security patrols of campus, both internal and external, maintaining crowd control and order, performing safety and equipment inspections, and providing information and assistance to the public. The officer responds to calls for assistance, documents incidents, operates security screening and monitoring systems, and reports any unauthorized or suspicious persons or unsafe conditions.
