About The Position

Sugarloaf Mountain Corporation is now accepting applications for a Public Safety Dispatcher within the Carrabassett Valley Police Department and Sugarloaf Security division. The role of this position is to answer and dispatch calls for the local fire, police, rescue, and security departments. Applicants will need to have availability for days, nights, weekends and holidays. Previous experience not necessary as we provide on the job training. This is a full-time, year-round position that is eligible for benefits, paid time off, and great resort perks/discounts.

Requirements

  • high school graduate
  • possess a valid driver’s license
  • have no criminal record

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with the area is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • answering the telephone
  • dispatching police officers, fire department, ambulance, and other emergency services to calls for service
  • monitoring an alarm computer for Sugarloaf Security and recognizing proper responses for the alarm system
  • creating work orders for the alarm technician
