About The Position

LCRA is looking for a Public Safety Dispatcher to join their team. The Public Safety Dispatch team is focused on securing critical infrastructure and enforcing laws on the waterways and lands of the LCRA. The role's primary functions include dispatching internal resources (law enforcement and security officers), security monitoring (cameras and alarms), and sending notifications to staff about critical incidents. This position is part-time and will primarily consist of providing floating coverage for time off and working two weekend shifts approximately every other weekend. Requirements

Ability to obtain and maintain the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) Basic Telecommunicator license
Ability to obtain and maintain Department of Public Safety Texas Law Enforcement Telecommunications System (TLETS) certification
Ability to obtain and maintain Texas Crime Information Center/National Crime Information Center (TCIC/NCIC) Full Access Operator certification
Two or more years of experience in the operation of currently relevant security systems and public safety dispatch/communications or other relevant experience
One or more years LCRA Public Safety experience
Current certification in Basic First Aid, CPR, and AED
Driver's license
Must pass the CJIS fingerprint-based background investigation according to the State of Texas standards
Must remain current with all CJIS training requirements
