The Public Safety Coordinator (PSC) provides unarmed uniformed safety, security and customer centered services to all patients, visitors, and staff of the Medical Center. The role involves greeting visitors, managing visitor badges, validating identification, providing directions, conducting foot patrols to deter crime and promote a safe environment, assisting Public Safety Officers in incident response, documenting events, performing special security details, and ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures.
