VIDIZMO is expanding its Public Safety Sales team and seeking skilled sales professionals to drive business growth within law enforcement, justice, and public safety agencies across the U.S. This role is ideal for individuals who excel in a fast-paced, AI-driven environment and are focused on revenue generation. VIDIZMO, a U.S.-based technology company headquartered in Tysons, Virginia, is a Microsoft Solutions Partner specializing in Data & AI, Infrastructure, and Digital & App Innovation. Their AI-powered Intelligence Hub assists Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, and public sector organizations in securely managing, analyzing, and governing complex data while ensuring full control and compliance. The company's Multimodal AI Data Intelligence Platform utilizes Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to offer capabilities such as automated tagging, redaction, summarization, OCR, translation, subtitle generation, object detection and tracking, intelligent search, sentiment and emotion analysis, topic extraction, document classification, and facial recognition. This is a quota-carrying position focused on selling enterprise software and AI solutions to a variety of public safety entities, including police departments, sheriff's offices, district attorneys, public defenders, courts, corrections agencies, state investigative bodies, emergency management organizations, and federal law enforcement agencies. The role involves owning opportunities within complex, multi-stakeholder government procurement cycles, with assigned territories, customer segments, or strategic markets based on the candidate's experience and relationships.

Requirements

  • Five or more years of success in enterprise software, SaaS, government-technology, or public-safety-technology sales.
  • Demonstrated experience selling to law enforcement, justice, or federal/state/county/municipal government agencies.
  • Proven ability to generate new pipeline through direct prospecting.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Experience managing complex, lengthy, multi-stakeholder government sales cycles.
  • Understanding of public-sector budgeting, procurement, contracting, and competitive solicitation.
  • Ability to communicate credibly with agency executives, attorneys, investigators, IT and security leaders, and procurement officials.
  • Strong discovery, presentation, proposal, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • CRM proficiency for pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Ability to work independently while coordinating internal teams and partners.
  • Willingness to travel for meetings, demos, conferences, and partner activities.
  • Excellent English communication and U.S. market experience.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Established relationships within law enforcement, prosecution, public defense, courts, corrections, or federal public-safety agencies.
  • Experience selling digital evidence management, body-camera, RMS, CAD, redaction, video management, investigation, cybersecurity, cloud, or AI solutions.
  • Familiarity with evidence handling, chain of custody, discovery, disclosure, FOIA, public records, retention, and digital-evidence workflows.
  • Working knowledge of the FBI CJIS Security Policy and related public-sector security requirements.
  • Experience with government contract vehicles, cooperative purchasing, resellers, distributors, and systems integrators.
  • Experience selling on-premises, private-cloud, dedicated-cloud, SaaS, or air-gapped solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, criminal justice, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute a business plan for your assigned territory, segment, or strategic market.
  • Generate pipeline through direct outreach, referrals, conferences, partners, procurement portals, and contract vehicles.
  • Build relationships with chiefs, sheriffs, command staff, prosecutors, investigators, evidence and records managers, CIOs, CISOs, and procurement officials.
  • Run discovery sessions and translate agency needs into business and technical solutions.
  • Develop business cases around faster investigations, reduced evidence-review time, lower redaction costs, and stronger security and disclosure.
  • Coordinate demonstrations, executive briefings, workshops, pilots, and proof-of-concept evaluations.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from qualification through negotiation, award, and contract execution.
  • Lead or support responses to RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, cooperative contracts, and sole-source opportunities.
  • Navigate government procurement, grant funding, appropriations, budget cycles, and purchasing requirements.
  • Develop channel, SI, and government-contracting partnerships to source direct and partner-led opportunities.
  • Represent VIDIZMO at public-safety conferences, association meetings, and industry forums.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity, activity, forecast, and customer data in CRM.
  • Use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar) to strengthen outputs, ensuring accuracy, completeness, logic, compliance, and business alignment on all deliverables.
