About The Position

Our Toronto team is looking for a Junior Consultant who wants to take control of their career in communications. Requirements

  • 2-3 years of proven experience in PR in Canada.
  • At least two years within a PR agency environment is required – please do not apply if you do not have this qualification.
  • Proven relationships with local, regional, and national media.
  • Exceptional writing, listening and communication skills.
  • Demonstrates assertiveness and takes initiative to proactively identify and address tasks, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and complete multiple projects simultaneously, sometimes under tight deadlines.
  • University or college degree in a related field, such as Communications, Public Relations, Political Science, or Journalism in Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Participating in strategic planning and development of creative concepts and campaigns for our clients.
  • Developing and executing impactful media relations and social media strategies that deliver impact and results.
  • Writing compelling communications materials for a wide range of internal and external audiences.
  • Planning and executing experiential and educational events.
  • Conducting research, measurement, monitoring and program reporting.
  • Managing programs and workflow in a team environment.
  • Providing administrative support, ensuring timely and accurate tracking of campaign expenses. This includes processing expense reports, maintaining budgets, and liaising with finance team.
