About The Position

GEM is looking for an enthusiastic Public Relations & Communications Assistant to join our growing team. This is an entry-level opportunity designed for individuals who want to gain real-world experience working with people, representing organizations, supporting community initiatives, and developing professional communication skills. No previous public relations, marketing, or communications experience is required. We provide hands-on training, mentorship, and the opportunity to develop valuable skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Represent clients and organizations at events, community activities, and promotional campaigns
Communicate with customers, community members, and event attendees in a professional and engaging manner
Support public relations and community outreach initiatives
Help increase awareness and engagement for client campaigns
Assist with event marketing and promotional activities
Communicate key campaign information to the public
Build positive relationships with customers and community members
Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development
Provide feedback and insights based on community interactions
Work collaboratively with team members to achieve campaign goals
