About The Position

What You’ll Do As a Public Relations & Communications Assistant, you’ll support PR, outreach, and campaign teams through event-based communication and community engagement .
Requirements
- Outgoing, personable, and eager to learn
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Interested in events, outreach, or nonprofit communications
- 18+ and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, or volunteering is a plus but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist with campaign planning, event coordination, and communication tasks
- Represent nonprofit clients at community events, fundraisers, and public activations
- Help prepare press kits, outreach materials, and communication content
- Engage with attendees, donors, volunteers, and media contacts
- Collect and track engagement metrics and event insights
- Contribute creative ideas to strengthen messaging and community impact
