About The Position

What You’ll Do As a Public Relations & Communications Assistant, you’ll support PR, outreach, and campaign teams through event-based communication and community engagement .

Requirements

  • Outgoing, personable, and eager to learn
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Interested in events, outreach, or nonprofit communications
  • 18+ and legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, or volunteering is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

  • Assist with campaign planning, event coordination, and communication tasks
  • Represent nonprofit clients at community events, fundraisers, and public activations
  • Help prepare press kits, outreach materials, and communication content
  • Engage with attendees, donors, volunteers, and media contacts
  • Collect and track engagement metrics and event insights
  • Contribute creative ideas to strengthen messaging and community impact
