We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Public Relations Assistant to support event marketing, public relations, community outreach, and nonprofit communications. This role offers hands-on experience in PR, fundraising campaigns, and live-event management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
• Outgoing, personable, and comfortable interacting with event attendees, clients, and vendors
• Highly organized and able to multitask in fast-paced, live-event environments
• Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn and grow in event marketing and PR
• Team-oriented, dependable, and collaborative

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing live events, fundraising initiatives, and promotional campaigns
• Support on-site event operations, including setup, registration, guest engagement, and teardown
• Implement event-focused PR strategies to increase media coverage and audience engagement
• Conduct research on event trends, competitor activity, and relevant media outlets
• Support community outreach programs to boost client visibility and nonprofit impact
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop creative event and PR campaigns
• Assist with post-event reporting, including feedback collection and performance tracking
