About The Position

We are an event marketing and fundraising firm that partners with nonprofit organizations to create live campaigns, community events, and public outreach initiatives. We’re currently hiring a Public Relations & Communications Assistant to support in-person communications, public engagement, and event-based messaging. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals interested in public relations, communications, event marketing, and nonprofit fundraising. No prior experience is required — paid training and mentorship are provided. Role Overview As a Public Relations & Communications Assistant, you will support face-to-face communication efforts at live events, community outreach programs, and fundraising campaigns. This role focuses on verbal communication, public interaction, and brand representation — not digital or print media.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Communicate nonprofit missions and campaign messages at live events and community outreach locations
• Support public-facing messaging during fundraising and awareness campaigns
• Assist with event coordination, messaging flow, and on-site communications
• Represent nonprofit partners and client brands in a professional, engaging manner
• Collaborate with event marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging
• Gather public feedback and insights to support campaign improvement
• Participate in training focused on public speaking, communication strategy, and leadership
