About The Position

This position will assist with staffing community events, drafting media advisories, learning media relations strategies, distributing collateral, writing outreach articles, and learning other corporate communications functions.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in Communications, Public Relations, Media Studies, Marketing or a closely related field
• Current enrollment with a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester (undergraduate level) or 3 credit hours per semester (graduate level)
• Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher
• Available to work up to 25 hours weekly
• A valid Nevada driver’s license
• Legal right to work in the US, including authorization to work off-campus
