Public Health Nurse - part-time

About The Position
Performs duties associated with population-based public health. Primary areas of responsibility include working, coordinating, and promoting immunization clinics, performing immunization audits, communicable disease prevention, and teaching health related classes to all age groups.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Three years of progressively responsible experience in public health preferred
- Missouri R.N. License
- CPR/AED Certification
- Valid driver’s license
- Must complete required NIMS level training within first six months of hire
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Computer proficiency essential
- Ability to speak effectively and respond to questions using tact, discretion, initiative, and independent judgment within established guidelines
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, hear, and lift and/or move up to 30 pounds
- Ability to perform operations of a clinic, including standing and sitting, using hands to prepare and administer vaccines, and transporting supplies
