About The Position
The Lee County Health Department is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join its Maternal & Child Health Team as a Public Health Nurse. This full-time position offers the opportunity to support the health and well-being of women, children, and families throughout Lee County. The nurse will work in the WIC (Women, Infants & Children), Better Birth Outcomes, Immunization Programs, and HealthWorks Lead Program.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with staff, community partners, and the public.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in maternal and child health, public health, or a related area.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Maternal & Child Health Team in the WIC (Women, Infants & Children) program.
- Work with the Better Birth Outcomes program.
- Work with Immunization Programs.

- Serve women, children, and families throughout Lee County.
