The Nevada County Public Health Department is hiring Public Health Nurses for regular part-time and full-time positions across multiple programs in Public Health and Child Welfare Services. The foster-care assignment is within Child Welfare Services and supports children involved with Child Welfare and Probation through assessments, medication coordination, case management, and program compliance. The recruitment is for Public Health Nurse I and II levels; applicants should apply for all levels for which they wish to be considered. Selected-candidate interviews are scheduled for the week of November 16, 2026.
