The position provides project management and operational support to federal and commercial public health programs, aiding in the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of solutions related to disease surveillance, immunizations, emergency preparedness and response, and medical countermeasures. It requires regular interaction with leadership-level federal customers to understand priorities, communicate progress, and present recommendations that drive alignment and decision-making. The analyst will gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements, ensuring alignment with data governance standards and public health objectives. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including developers, data scientists, system architects, and public health stakeholders, is essential to design, evaluate, and implement data system solutions that improve data ecosystems, operational visibility, and efficiency. The role also supports stakeholder coordination, communication planning, and change management activities to drive adoption of new processes and tools, and contributes to future-state planning and process improvements to modernize surveillance and preparedness systems. Subject matter expertise in public health domains and support for project tracking, documentation, and timely delivery of high-quality outputs aligned with client objectives are also key aspects.
