About The Position

The Public Area Attendant ensures the cleanliness and perfection of the guest areas of the resort. This role involves maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of all public spaces, including vacuuming, dusting, and ensuring surfaces, mirrors, furniture, floors, ashtrays, elevators, and doors are clean and mark-free. The attendant is responsible for removing trash and periodically checking and restocking restrooms. Additionally, the role requires responding to guest requests and inquiries within the lobby and providing directions.

Requirements

Must be willing to work a flexible schedule. This may include some evenings, weekends and holidays.
Basic level of English is required.
High attention to detail and customer service skills.
Candidates must have excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
Ability to push, pull, lift up to 40lbs.
Ability to kneel, crouch and reach.
Walk up to 8 hours per shift.
Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States.

Responsibilities

Keeps all public areas neat, vacuumed and dusted.
Makes sure mirrors, furniture, floors, ashtrays, elevators and doors are clean and mark-free.
Removes all trash from areas.
Periodically checks Lobby and employee Restrooms. Makes sure all surfaces are clean. Restocks all supplies including toilet paper, soap and hand towels.
Responds to guest requests and inquiries while in the lobby.
Possess ability to answer guest questions and direct them to the areas in which they desiree
