A houseperson is responsible for the overall cleanliness of the hotel guest hallways, corridors, vending areas, and elevators on guest floors, ensuring that the hotel cleanliness standards are met. In addition, the houseperson assists Room Attendants by ensuring that they have the linen and other supplies they need; along with delivering requests to our guest.

Requirements

  • Experience in and/or demonstrated commitment to supporting diversity, equity, access, inclusion , and wellbeing.
  • Ability to cultivate and develop inclusive and equitable working relationships with students, faculty, staff, and community members.
  • High School education or GED preferred, basic reading and writing skills.
  • Walking and standing 100% of the time.
  • Ability to push housekeeping cart regularly.
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, and pulling.
  • Ability to perform light to moderately heavy housekeeping duties using the approved chemicals and equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • One year experience cleaning at a hotel or commercial building

Responsibilities
