This role is responsible for cleaning public and employee restrooms and showers, glass in public and employee areas, and floor surfaces using designated chemicals, supplies, and equipment. The housekeeper will also dust surfaces, empty trash containers, inspect furniture for damage, and clean and maintain lights. They will post caution signs when necessary, contact other departments for urgent repairs, and respond promptly to guest and department requests. Additionally, the role involves identifying and reporting maintenance issues, following all company and safety procedures, and completing safety training. The position requires maintaining a clean and professional appearance, upholding confidentiality, and welcoming guests according to company standards. It also involves assisting individuals with disabilities, anticipating guest needs, and thanking guests with appreciation. The role requires clear and professional communication, supporting team goals, and adhering to quality standards. Physical requirements include lifting objects up to 55 pounds without assistance and over 55 pounds with assistance, pushing and pulling machinery, reaching overhead and below the knees, grasping and manipulating objects, moving through confined spaces, climbing ladders, and standing, sitting, kneeling, or walking for extended periods.
