About The Position

The Public Area Attendant plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of public spaces within accommodation and food service establishments. This position ensures that all public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining areas, are spotless and welcoming to guests at all times. The attendant contributes directly to guest satisfaction by promptly addressing cleanliness issues and responding to guest needs with professionalism and courtesy. This role requires physical stamina and attention to detail to handle cleaning tasks efficiently while adhering to health and safety standards. Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry heavy weights up to 50 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of public areas such as lobbies, corridors, restrooms, and dining spaces to ensure they meet cleanliness standards.
• Use appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment safely and effectively to complete tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste disposal.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and concerns related to public area cleanliness and safety.
• Monitor and replenish supplies in public restrooms and other common areas to maintain availability and hygiene.
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or security concerns observed during cleaning rounds to the appropriate department.
