About The Position

The Public Area Attendant will service and maintain the cleanliness of all public areas including public and associate restrooms, associate cafeteria, lobby areas, banquet spaces and hotel offices in accordance with brand standards. This role is ideal for leaders who enjoy blending a resort-adjacent lifestyle with efficient operations, serving both leisure and business travelers.

Requirements

• Previous cleaning, janitorial, or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Able to work with little or no supervision
• Must meet grooming standards
• Strong attention to detail as it pertains to cleanliness standards
• Must be able to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays and at times overtime depending on business needs
• Stand for extended periods.
• Frequently use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
• Frequently talk or hear.
• Occasionally sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and taste or smell.
• Frequently lift, push and pull up to 50lbs.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

• Hospitality environment experience a plus.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain lobby, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and public areas.
• Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish surfaces as required.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
• Maintain cleanliness and restocking of public restrooms.
• Ensure all furniture, décor, and fixtures in public areas are clean and tidy.
• Monitor lobby appearance throughout the shift and address issues promptly.
• Respond to guest requests and provide assistance courteously.
• Perform special projects as assigned by management.
• Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to management.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
