About The Position

The Public Area Attendant is responsible for assisting with the cleaning of all assigned public areas, following daily checklists, and performing basic housekeeping duties. This role involves restocking supplies, delivering items to housekeepers, retrieving and transporting trash and laundry, and providing excellent customer service to members, guests, and prospects. The attendant must portray a positive company image, maintain a professional appearance, and show up on time, in uniform, and with a positive attitude. This position also involves assuming responsibility for decisions and escalating customer concerns to management as needed.

Requirements

Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
Ability to perform physical tasks, including bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, and walking for extended periods
Must be dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while on duty
Positive, team-oriented attitude and a desire to contribute to a high-quality environment for residents and guests
Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
One or more years of professional housekeeping experience or related experience required.
One or more years of general customer service experience required.
Excellent customer relationship skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Must possess a valid Texas Driver’s License and meet the driver safety policy requirements.

Responsibilities

Portray a positive company image and engage in professional and friendly communications with all members, guests, and prospects.
Assists with the cleaning of all public areas assigned. Follow the daily checklist.
Assists with basic housekeeping duties such as restocking supplies, and other tasks as needed.
Promptly delivers additional items to housekeepers that are needed to complete a cleaning.
Retrieves trash from housekeepers and transports it to the compactor.
Retrieves laundry from housekeepers and transports it to the laundry bins.
Assumes responsibility for decisions, consequences, and escalates any customer concerns to management.
Provides excellent customer service to all clients, guests, and prospects.
Show up every workday on time, in uniform, and with a positive attitude.
Performs other duties, as assigned.
