About The Position

STAR Physical Therapy is seeking a PT Tech/Aide to assist therapists with treatments under direct supervision. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and organization of equipment and treatment areas, setting up patients for treatments, and assisting with exercises as directed by the Physical Therapist. The PT Tech/Aide will also support administrative tasks such as filing, answering phones, and scheduling, as well as managing supplies and inventory. Maintaining safety protocols and contributing to a positive clinic environment are also key aspects of this position.

Requirements

High school diploma required
Ability to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment
Basic PC skills and knowledge, including but not limited to Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, database software, and MS Office

Responsibilities

Assist therapists with treatments under direct supervision.
Clean and maintain equipment, treatment areas, and linen supply.
Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning hot pack machines and disinfecting treatment tables.
Set up patients for treatments and assist with exercises as directed by the Physical Therapist.
Help with administrative tasks such as filing, answering phones, and scheduling patients.
Order supplies and assist with inventory management under the direction of the Clinic Director.
Maintain safety protocols, including equipment checks and fire safety procedures.
Contribute to a positive clinic environment and support overall team efforts.
