We are looking for 2 PT Supervisors who will be in charge of managing various working shifts and support all 3 locations in the surrounding area of LAX. Duties primarily revolve around the general management of your direct reports, which include, but are not limited to, providing and demonstrating task instructions, keeping attendance, and measuring key performance indicators. You will be expected to keep records and produce reports that will be used to review team performance. In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills and a passion for excellence. Previous leadership experience is a plus. Requirements

  • Minimum Requirements HS Diploma or five years of shuttle driving experience and must be at least 21 years of age
  • Reading: Average Level: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret, federal, state, and local transportation regulations as well as reports and procedures.
  • Communication: Must be able to read and speak the English language sufficiently (DOT Requirement)
  • Math: Average Level: Ability to add, subtract, divide and multiply.
  • Writing: Average Level: Ability to write statements/reports.
  • Technical Skill: Knowledge of all working functions of a shuttle bus, ADA lifts, wheelchair securement, GPS, video/audio camera, proper stowage, and securement of luggage
  • Customer Service Experience: Proper greeting of customers, proper etiquette with ADA passenger, proper handling of upset customers, promoting the company APP, benefits, and programs.
  • Physical: Must be willing to pass a physical as part of the selection process as required by airport, federal DOT and/or state regulations.
  • Licenses & Endorsements: Must possess the appropriate license, endorsements and or medical certification to operate a shuttle bus.
  • Have a good driving record.
  • Must have excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Hiring is contingent on passing Drug screening and background.

  • Previous leadership experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Making sure employees that report to you meet performance expectations.
  • Giving instructions or orders to subordinate employees.
  • Ensuring that the work environment is safe, secure and healthy.
  • Meeting deadlines.
  • Approving work hours.
  • Ensure great customer service at all levels.
  • Dispatching with our shuttle drivers.
  • Greeting customers and informing them where to park.
  • Assisting customers during the checkout process if help is needed.
  • Supervisors will be required to drive shuttles periodically.
  • Be able to drive our shuttle van to the airport when needed.
  • Must be flexible for operation needs and schedule (evenings and weekends).
  • Supervisor will be responsible for the managing of operations/employees with shift flexibility.
