About The Position

The PT Service Associate supports store operations by bagging checkout items and placing bags in carts, restocking returns and coolers, retrieving and returning shopping carts, vacuuming the front end, and collecting and disposing of trash. The role also includes housekeeping duties, keeping floors and work areas clean, and completing a clean sweep every hour. Team members prepare for scheduled duties at the start of each shift by reviewing the work schedule, checking required equipment and supplies, and complying with personal protective equipment requirements. They provide good customer service and perform other duties as assigned by management. Shifts are at least four hours, with longer shifts depending on business needs. The position requires lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds and meeting the stated standing and walking requirements.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule at the start of the shift and check the equipment and supplies needed for scheduled work.
• Comply with personal protective equipment requirements and prepare for assigned duties.
• Collect trash, take it to the compactor, and operate the compactor.
• Perform housekeeping duties, keep floors and work areas clean, and perform a clean sweep every hour.
• Collect and stack carts and push them back to the front end of the store.
• Bag items at checkout and place bags into carts.
• Restock returns and coolers, retrieve carts from the parking lot, and vacuum the front end.
• Demonstrate good customer service skills.
• Complete other duties as assigned by management.
