About The Position

STAR Physical Therapy is seeking a PT Aide / Technician to assist therapists with treatments under direct supervision. This role involves maintaining the clinic environment, supporting administrative tasks, and contributing to a positive team atmosphere. Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • Ability to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment.
  • Basic PC skills and knowledge, including but not limited to Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, database software, and MS Office.

  • Preference given to those pursuing a career in an allied health profession.

Responsibilities

  • Assist therapists with treatments under direct supervision.
  • Clean and maintain equipment, treatment areas, and linen supply.
  • Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning hot pack machines and disinfecting treatment tables.
  • Set up patients for treatments and assist with exercises as directed by the Physical Therapist.
  • Help with administrative tasks such as filing, answering phones, and scheduling patients.
  • Order supplies and assist with inventory management under the direction of the Clinic Director.
  • Maintain safety protocols, including equipment checks and fire safety procedures.
  • Contribute to a positive clinic environment and support overall team efforts.
