About The Position
Midland College is hiring a part-time adjunct instructor to teach Art History and/or Art Appreciation. Assignments may include either subject and may be taught in a classroom and/or online. The instructor is responsible for managing the classroom and meeting deadlines. Requirements
- Master's degree in art.
- Appropriate coursework for Art History and/or Art Appreciation.
- Ability to lift or move up to 20 pounds.
- Manual dexterity.
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods.
- Ability to use a keyboard repetitively at a workstation.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, the program chair, and the dean.
Nice To Haves
- Online teaching experience.
- Knowledge of a Learning Management System.
