Peraton is seeking an experienced Psychological Operations (PSYOP) / Military Information Support Operations (MISO) Planner to integrate MISO functions and tasks into all facets of Combatant Command (CCMD) / Unified Command-level planning. The planner will ensure PSYOP/MISO considerations are incorporated into command decision‑making processes. This role involves planning, developing, integrating, and assessing PSYOP/MISO in campaign plans, OPLANs, and crisis action planning. The planner will also provide expert mission analysis, analytic problem solving, and assessment support, and develop innovative concepts to counter adversarial use of information in the Information Environment (IE). Key responsibilities include incorporating culturally significant factors into operational and tactical planning, security, and risk assessments, integrating information systems and information-related capabilities (IRC), and coordinating with interagency and intelligence community partners. The role requires reviewing, analyzing, and operationalizing tactical and operational IO-related directives, applying technical expertise across tactical, operational, and strategic planning and execution, and identifying and tracking measures of performance and measures of effectiveness. The planner will advise senior leaders on the application of PSYOP/MISO during the development of operational concepts.
