Peraton is seeking an experienced PSYOP Exercise Planner to support operations at Peterson SFB, Colorado Springs, CO. This is an on-site position with the client, requiring no remote or hybrid work. The role involves reviewing and analyzing national-level strategies, policies, and joint doctrine, and advising on their impact. The planner will support the development of exercise planning documentation, identify command resource requirements, and validate PSYOP integration and participation in various exercises. A key aspect of the role includes conducting academic research to develop and validate PSYOP knowledge, providing instruction and guidance to service members, and delivering focused academic outreach, experimentation, and integration of scientific applications relevant to PSYOP. The position also provides continuity and support to advanced influence courses for the military client, serving as a subject matter expert and advisor on PSYOP, and providing instruction and mentoring to service members throughout exercises. The planner will demonstrate knowledge and ability to develop innovative concepts to counter adversarial propaganda and bring experience in developing training curricula for military audiences. Expertise in mission analysis, analytic problem-solving, and assessment, leveraging information systems and IRCs; integrating interagency and intelligence community (IC) perspectives; developing concepts to counter adversarial information use in the cyber and electromagnetic spectrum; and considering cultural factors affecting operational and tactical planning, security, and risk assessment is required. Instruction on PSYOP, MDMP, service-level operations, and joint operations will be provided as needed, along with support for educational courses and requirements for advanced PSYOP skills.
