About The Position

Metrowest Nutrition and Therapy is seeking a full-time, masters-level psychotherapist with a minimum of one year of eating disorder experience to join their multi-disciplinary group practice. This hybrid position involves work at their Newton Centre office and remote telehealth services. The psychotherapist will be a central part of the team, specializing in eating disorders, disordered eating, older child adolescent health, emerging adults, trauma, mood disorders, and ADHD. The practice operates from an inclusive Health at Every Size (HAES) model and is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Clinicians benefit from flexible pay, caseload management, extensive supervision, collaboration, and administrative support. Opportunities may arise for running groups, providing professional training, and leading programs in schools and community organizations.

Requirements

• Masters level clinician (MA, LCSW, LICSW, PhD, PsyD, LMHC).
• Minimum of one year eating disorder experience.
• Fully licensed in the state of Massachusetts.
• Willing to see a minimum of 20 clients a week.
• Must be aligned with a trauma-informed, weight-neutral/body liberation HAES-aligned framework.
• Some experience in eating disorders, disordered eating, feeding issues, body image, women’s health, and athletic performance.

Nice To Haves

• Experience and training in Family-Based Therapy, DBT, Expressive Therapy, ACT, Somatic Experiencing and/or IFS and trauma.
• Prior private practice experience.
