About The Position

Metrowest Nutrition and Therapy is seeking a passionate and collaborative full-time psychotherapist to join their multi-disciplinary group practice. This hybrid position involves working from their Newton Centre office and providing telehealth services remotely. The psychotherapist will be a central part of the multidisciplinary team, working with individuals on healing their relationship with food, movement, and body. The practice specializes in eating disorders, disordered eating, older child adolescent health, emerging adults, trauma, mood disorders, and ADHD, operating from an inclusive Health at Every Size (HAES) model. Diversity, equity, and inclusion are central to the organization's mission, with efforts to create a space for growth and learning around racial and gender equality, hiring staff committed to these principles, providing affinity group supervision for BIPOC clinicians, and engaging a DEI consultant. The practice offers robust clinical and administrative support, ongoing training opportunities, and a steady flow of referrals. They are looking for independent, driven, and collaborative team members who enhance a fun, connected, and positive-minded group of clinicians.

Requirements

  • Masters level clinician (MA, LCSW, LICSW, PhD, PsyD, LMHC).
  • Minimum of one year eating disorder experience.
  • Fully licensed in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Current State of Massachusetts license as a PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LMFT, MA or LMHC.
  • Willing to see a minimum of 20 clients a week.
  • Minimum of 1 year of eating disorder experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience and training in Family-Based Therapy, DBT, Expressive Therapy, ACT, Somatic Experiencing and/or IFS and trauma.
  • Prior private practice experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Play a central role on the multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide individual counseling.

  • Potentially provide professional training.
  • Potentially lead programs at schools and community organizations.
  • See a minimum of 20 clients a week.
