Responsible for providing integrative psychotherapy through the modality of using expressive arts therapy with individuals, children and families. Provides comprehensive integrative assessment and counseling support for mental, emotional, social and behavioral issues that arise for patients with chronic or life threatening illness. Assists patients in learning effective tools to cope with stress, grief and loss, and to make healthy behavioral changes. Works in partnership with physicians, other health practitioners and administrative staff on care coordination and treatment planning, and is the principle team resource for all mental health matters. The position also collaborates with the other psychotherapists to implement and sustain best practices in the area of integrative psychotherapy and guided imagery, and to stay abreast of research and best practice in the field of behavioral health and integrative medicine. Due to continued growth and a commitment to increasing access to care, we are expanding our Behavioral Health team. This full-time position focuses on providing services to youth ages 6–20. The role offers a hybrid schedule, with flexibility between remote and in-person work (2–3 days onsite and 2–3 days remote per week). The therapist will provide brief, evidence-informed interventions, typically ranging from 4–10 sessions of approximately 60 minutes each.
