About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Child/Adolescent Psychotherapist to join our dynamic mental health team. In this role, you will provide evidence-based psychotherapy services to children and adolescents facing a variety of emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. Your expertise will support young clients in overcoming mental health issues, fostering resilience, and promoting overall well-being. The ideal candidate is energetic, motivated, and passionate about making a positive impact on young lives through innovative therapeutic approaches.

Requirements

Psychologists (licensed).
Art Therapist (licensed).
Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW).
Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC).
Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT).
Current NJ License, active, able to work with children, adolescents, and, young adults.

Nice To Haves

Telehealth experience is highly preferred to facilitate flexible patient access while maintaining high standards of patient care.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations using ICD-10 coding standards to determine appropriate treatment plans for children and adolescents.
Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, DBT, TF-CBT, ERP, EMDR.
Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage acute mental health episodes effectively while ensuring safety and stability for clients.
Utilize telehealth platforms to provide remote therapy sessions, maintaining HIPAA compliance and ensuring seamless patient care across different settings.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, special educators, pediatricians, and case managers to coordinate comprehensive care plans.
Maintain accurate medical documentation, medical records, and detailed progress notes in accordance with HIPAA regulations and CPT coding standards.
Engage in ongoing clinical research and data collection to enhance treatment efficacy and contribute to evidence-based practices within pediatric behavioral health.
