About The Position

Penobscot Community Health Care is seeking an experienced, part-time, Psychotherapist (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT) interested in working with the adult and geriatric population in person at area nursing homes, boarding homes, assisted living facilities and homebound patients as part of our Community Care and Geriatrics (CCG) team. CCG is a well-established team of highly skilled physicians, advanced practice providers, psychotherapists, and medical assistants focused on providing primary care in a variety of facility and in-home-care settings throughout the Greater Bangor Region.

Requirements

Fully licensed clinicians (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT) with at least two years of experience in therapy.
High level of autonomy and flexibility.
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Ability to show a Certificate of Immunization, or Proof of Immunity, against Rubeola (measles); Mumps; Rubella (German measles); Varicella; Hepatitis B; and Influenza.

Responsibilities

Provide psychotherapy to adult and geriatric populations in nursing homes, boarding homes, assisted living facilities, and homebound patients.
Work closely with PCHC colleagues and individual facility team members.
Manage multiple priorities and communicate skillfully with multiple stakeholders.
Provide clinical practice experience working with the adult and geriatric patient population experiencing grief/loss, supporting the aging process, and accepting and managing new health diagnoses.
