Fee-for-service Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) Specialist. In this role, you’ll empower children and youth to thrive—at home, in school, and in their communities. As a PSR Specialist, you’ll provide hands-on support and skill-building to help them grow, cope, and succeed with minimal ongoing intervention.
Requirements
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- 2+ years’ experience in children’s mental health, addiction, or foster care
- Flexibility to conduct home visits (evenings or weekends preferred)
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Ability to connect with diverse cultural and social groups
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and some familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR)
Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one with children and adolescents in their homes and communities
- Teach and reinforce social, emotional, and daily living skills
- Provide support in managing challenges that affect a child or adolescent’s well-being and independence
- Help children rebuild essential social skills – communication, interpersonal skills, social etiquette and emotional regulation – to support developmentally appropriate functioning
- Keep accurate, timely documentation of services
