About The Position

Since 1987, Carter Psychology Center has enjoyed an outstanding reputation as a leader in outpatient psychological, psychoeducational, and neuropsychological assessment in Bradenton, FL. We are dedicated to providing diagnostic services and treatment in a precise, compassionate manner so that every piece of the process helps our patients thrive. We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Psychometrician to join our growing practice. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with experienced clinicians and gain hands-on experience delivering evaluation services across the lifespan (ages 3 to 90+), with a focus on adult and geriatric neuropsychological testing. You will be responsible for administering and scoring standardized psychological and neuropsychological test batteries. For the right candidate, we are fully willing and able to train for the position.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or a related health field
Master’s degree in a mental health profession
1+ year of experience administering psychological or neuropsychological tests
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and behavior management skills
Fast learner with high attention to detail, reliability, and dependability
Proactive attitude and commitment to compassionate, professional patient care
Must be able to reliably commute or relocate to Bradenton, FL 34207 before starting work

Nice To Haves

Certified Specialist in Psychometry or equivalent psychometrist certification
Prior hands-on experience with standardized testing batteries
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish

Responsibilities

Administer and score standardized psychological and neuropsychological tests for children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
Uphold the accuracy, standardized protocol, and integrity of all testing procedures.
Manage behavioral observation and build rapport with patients experiencing cognitive, neurological, or developmental challenges.
Maintain clear, accurate record-keeping and clinical documentation.
