About The Position
The Psychometrician administers intelligence, cognitive, aptitude, personality, and other psychological tests according to standardized test instructions. The resulting data is used by a psychologist to help determine patient diagnoses and develop treatment plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience working with patients in a mental health or healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of the principles of normal and abnormal human behavior, basic statistics, and growth and development.
- Ability to attend to patients’ emotional and psychosocial needs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with pediatric patients in a behavioral health, mental health, or healthcare setting.
- Experience with psychological or psychometric testing.
