The School of Art, Humanities, and Social Sciences at Madison College is hiring a full time Psychology Instructor. Our goal is to conduct virtual interviews beginning the week of May 4th, and second-round in person interviews the week of May 18th, with an August 13, 2026, start date. This position is responsible for instruction of Psychology at the college level. This includes developing a relevant and progressive curriculum, designing and implementing effective learning strategies and environments, utilizing innovative teaching techniques and technology, delivering instruction of high quality, assessing student learning, advising students, and participating in college service activities at the department, school and college levels. This position reports to the Dean of the School of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences. A faculty member in this position will be expected to teach Intro to Psychology and Developmental Psychology and be able to teach a variety of psychology courses. Most Psychology courses are offered in person during weekdays, with some online offerings. All faculty are expected to teach a variety of delivery modes (training provided as needed). Faculty members may be expected to teach at one of our branch campuses, subject to scheduling and departmental needs.
