About The Position

Oklahoma Christian University’s College of Sciences and Education seeks a full-time tenure-track Psychology faculty member to teach undergraduate courses, support student mentoring and advising, and contribute to departmental and university service in alignment with OC’s Christian mission. Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Psychology
• Ability to communicate and positively engage students and colleagues
• Active member of a local church that aligns with OC’s Christian mission

Nice To Haves

• Teaching experience and evidence of scholarship in the field of expertise are preferred

Responsibilities

• Teach 12 credit hours of undergraduate psychology courses both in-person and online per semester
• Provide spiritual, academic, and professional mentoring for students
• Advise students in their program of study
• Participate in department curriculum planning and assessment tasks
• Create and maintain appropriate educational records to document students' academic performance, observing appropriate confidentiality
• Serve on university and college-level committees
• Other duties as assigned
