About The Position

The Brigham Young University (BYU) Department of Psychology invites applicants of any academic rank to fill a full-time (continuing faculty status) professional-track faculty position to begin Fall Semester 2027. We specifically seek applicants qualified to teach advanced writing and coordinate writing instruction in our department. Requirements

  • This position requires a PhD in psychology or a related field. The required degree must be completed by the start date.

Responsibilities

  • The primary responsibility for this position is teaching undergraduate advanced writing courses in psychology.
  • This faculty member will also be responsible for coordinating writing instruction in our department to help all students develop writing competencies.
  • Candidates should also be prepared to engage in citizenship responsibilities in the department, college, and university.
