About The Position

Clinical psychologists aim to reduce the distress and improve the psychological well-being of patients. They use psychological methods and research to make positive changes to their clients' lives and will offer various forms of treatment. Clinical psychologists often work alongside other professionals in multi-disciplinary teams in order to tackle complex patient problems. Clinical psychologists work with clients of all ages on a variety of different mental or physical health problems. Psychologists deliver direct clinical services such as alcohol/drug assessments, psychological and neuropsychological testing, and psychotherapy.

Requirements

  • PHD or PSYD degree in Psychology required
  • Basic Life Support Certification, obtained within 90 days of employment
  • Crisis Prevention Institute Certification, obtained within 6 months of employment
  • Kansas Licensed Psychologist LP

Nice To Haves

  • 2-3 years psychiatric clinical experience preferred
  • AAPS Certification / Alcohol Drug Certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct clinical services such as alcohol/drug assessments, psychological and neuropsychological testing, and psychotherapy.
