About The Position
WarriorVets Medical Services, PLLC is seeking a licensed psychologist to conduct assessments for veterans on a traveling basis. This is a contract opportunity with a clinician-owned and led health company that provides in-person care to current and former US Military veterans. The role involves traveling to different clinics to complete psychological examinations, with no ongoing treatment needs for the veterans. The company handles all administrative work, and clinical support is available. The position offers a flexible schedule, allowing clinicians to make their own appointments, with a current need for 2-3 days per week. Appointments typically last 60 to 90 minutes, and a full day of evaluations will not exceed eight hours. This role makes a difference in veterans' lives by impacting their access to care.
Requirements
- Consent to a 100% travel schedule
- Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Psychology (APA Accredited)
- Active and unrestricted psychology license
- 1+ year of clinical work experience, post-doctorate credentialing
- Ability to practice independently without ongoing clinical supervision
- Strong interpersonal written and oral communication skills
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological evaluations for veterans.
- Travel to different clinics to complete assessments.
- Perform in-person appointments consisting of general psychological evaluations.
- Spend time with patients, as administrative tasks are handled by a support team.
